💡 Lime juice will temporarily soften the Makhana. Serve right away, or re-crisp in the pan for 1 minute after adding the juice.
Ingredients
- 120g Nutriva Foods Peri Peri Makhana
- Zest and juice of 1 lime
- 1 tsp chilli flakes
- ½ tsp smoked paprika
- ½ tsp toasted cumin powder
- ¼ tsp salt
- 1 tsp coconut oil
Method
Step 1
Mix lime zest, chilli flakes, paprika, cumin, and salt in a small bowl.
Step 2
Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add Makhana and toss 4–5 minutes until warm and crispy.
Step 3
Remove from heat. Immediately squeeze over lime juice and toss well.
Step 4
Add spice mixture and toss vigorously to coat every pop.
Step 5
Taste and adjust. Serve immediately for maximum crunch.
